Benefits for patients and their human friends
House calls are an hour long. This provides enough time to answer questions, investigate concerns, and develop a whole-body diagnostic and treatment plan. Patients are more relaxed in their own homes, and humans are spared the hassle of traffic and parking!
Chinese herbal therapy
Chinese nutritional therapy
Holistic therapies are particularly well-suited for the treatment of chronic diseases and as preventative approaches to maintain good health.
House calls are ideal for chronic conditions that require frequent rechecks and/or monitoring with diagnostic testing. It is essential that emergencies are seen at an emergency clinic as quickly as possible.
What Pet Owners Say
Dr. Kate was absolutely amazing with my Yorkie Ella Bella who was recently diagnosed with kidney disease. She reviewed her paperwork, spent 2 hours doing a full-analysis and TuiNa treatment on Ella. She sent a detailed report the following day with recommendations on supplements and a whole foods diet. Ella is doing wonderful on the new diet, and I feel great feeding my dog wholesome food rather than canned food. I highly recommend Dr. Kate, she is absolutely amazing with dogs (and humans), she is caring, kind, and if you love your pooch as much as I do- worth it! Thank you Dr. Kate!
"A Huge Help"
Dr. Kate has been a huge help with our 14 year old pug, Capone, who has issues with his hind legs. Nothing else has worked over the last couple of years even after many consults with the experts at Angell Animal Medical Center in Jamaica Plain. She's not only knowledgeable about many dog issues and healing holistically, but she has helped prolong our dog's life, which to us is priceless. Thank you Dr. Kate!!!!!!
"An Exceptional Practitioner"
Dr. Kate is an exceptional practitioner. Her nutritional advice and herbal treatment of our spirited but weak and overweight dog, saved, transformed and extended Miss Tessie's life. (She is going strong at 13 1/2 years, trim and fit and still getting her warm, home-cooked meals!) In our experience, Dr. Kate chose the simplest, least invasive treatments to address Tessie's issues, but did not hesitate to recommend stronger measurers if they were indicated. As an acupuncturist, I can say confidently that Dr. Kate really knows her stuff!
